Project Narrative annually hosts a small number of Visiting Scholars who are working on research and/or teaching projects in narrative and narrative theory. Due to budget limitations, Visiting Scholars need to come with their own funding, but we do supply office space, borrowing privileges at the Ohio State Library, the opportunity to audit courses and informal mentoring.
The deadline for applications for 2023-24 is November 15, 2023, and applications consist of the following materials:
- A writing sample (scholarly essay)
- A letter of recommendation from an advisor or supervisor
- A one-page description of the research to be conducted during the period of the visit
- A curriculum vitae
- Proof of anticipated institutional funding to cover all necessary expenses
