On Monday, February 18th, Professor David Shields will give a reading of his new book Nobody Hates Trump More Than Trump: An Intervention at the Wexner Center at 4:00 pm. On Tuesday, February 19th, he will give a lecture, “Literary Collage: An Origin Story; A Love Story,” in Denney 311 at 4:00 pm.
To help prepare for his visit, we will have a panel focused on his widely-discussed book Reality Hunger: A Manifesto on Thursday, February 14th at 4:00 pm in Denney 311. Four panelists will provide a brief snapshot of Shields’s book, using their unique perspectives to (re)read Reality Hunger in different ways. A Q&A session and a general discussion will follow.
The panelists include faculty members in Creative Writing and graduate students from the MFA and PhD programs: Professor Elissa Washuta, Professor Nick White, David Grandouiller and Joey Ferraro.
Come and join us for an in-depth and lively discussion about Reality Hunger!
