The New Seriality Studies
September 23, 2016
All Day
New York City - Columbia University Heyman Center for the Humanities

Project Narrative is co-sponsoring a one-day symposium, entitled "The New Seriality Studies," at Columbia University's Heyman Center for the Humanities, in New York City.  The symposium is co-curated by Core Faculty member Sean O'Sullivan, and it will include two other Core Faculty--Jared Gardner and Robyn Warhol.  This event draws scholars from across the U.S. and abroad to consider practices, theories, and effects of serial storytelling across media, including fiction, film, television, comics, and music.  The closing roundtable will feature Lev Grossman (book critic at Time and author of the Magicians trilogy), A. O. Scott (film critic at The New York Times), and Julie Snyder (co-creator and executive producer, the Serial podcast).  For additional information, please see the Heyman Center site: http://heymancenter.org/events/the-new-seriality-studies/
