Project Narrative is delighted to announce a special event: a conversation on narrative with the distinguished sociolinguist and seminal narrative theorist, William Labov.
Professor Labov will be giving a talk, co-sponsored by Project Narrative, "The Language of Life and Death," on Thursday evening, February 28, 5:00-6:15 p.m., in Postle Hall. The conversation on Friday morning will give us an opportunity to follow up on that talk, as well as on Professor Labov's other contributions in his long career as a scholar of conversational narrative.
Affiliates of Project Narrative and the entire OSU academic community are cordially invited to participate in what promises to be an exciting dialogue with one of the founders of our field. You won't want to miss this opportunity!
