Jessica Love

Graduate Student, Cognitive Psychology
Jessica Love is a first-year graduate student in cognitive psychology, and her main interest is in psycholingusitics, or the way the mind processes language. Current research projects include: the processing differences between verbs such as hit and break (which has the more complicated, change-of-state event template), and the way children process anthromorphic characters in short stories. In the future, she would like to take a look at how changes in point-of-view and other techniques actually affect a reader's processing of a sentence, paragraph, or longer text.
