The Buckeye Language Network is pleased to present Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Narrative, a one-day workshop to be held at The Ohio State University on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
This workshop will bring together the areas of Speech and Hearing Science and Formal/Computational Linguistics and offer an opportunity for discussion and collaboration. Ron Gillam (Utah State University) and Kathleen McKeown (Columbia University) will present keynote talks on their research; there will also be poster sessions (stay tuned for a call for poster abstracts!).
Funding for this BLN workshop was received from the College of Arts and Sciences to support the Study of Language Variation (SoLV), which is also supported by resources from the Departments of Speech and Hearing, Linguistics, Psychology, and the School of Teaching and Learning.
